Mardi Himal is a 5,587-meter peak on the left flank of Mt. Machapuchare, famously known as Fishtail in the Annapurna mountain ranges. It is separated by a col at 5,200 meters. It was first summited in 1961 by Basil Goodfellow of Great Britain. Visitors will get to see marvelous Annapurna Mountains, Mountain Landscapes, waterfall and Forest. Mardi offers a very close and superb view of Mt. Fishtail and Pokhara valley. Majority of hike in Mardi is through lush forest and the view opens up from Badal Dada, just an hour above low camp. Usually the longer hike is about 45+ km when started from Kande but from Sidhing, it’s about 32 km.
Your Arrival Time - Airport pickup and transfer to your Hotel. After Freshen Up at Hotel: Visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa with a Tour Guide. Dinner at a Nice Restaurant with a bottle of Beer.
After some off-road drive through the foothill of Mardi Mountain, Stay at a lodge in quiet village of Sidhing. It’s the beginning point for trek to Mardi and Mt. Fish tail.
From Sidhing, trek to Low camp (2900m/9809ft) – Overnight at a lodge
Trek to High camp (3580m/11,745ft) – Overnight
Trek to Mardi Base Camp (4450m 14,599ft) and Back to High Camp – Overnight
Evening Recommendation – See Davis Falls, Tibetan Refuge Camp and Hang out in Lake Side.
You will have Breakfast in the Hotel in Sauraha before the morning activities. After the Canoe Ride and visit to Elephant Breeding center, you will drive back to Kathmandu (5hrs). We will make brief stop for lunch or Tea/coffee and light snacks on our way back.

If you have an evening Departure, you have time to visit Swayanbhunath Stupa, a beautiful Buddhist temple overlooking Kathmandu valley and the northern Mountains. You also have time to do some souvenir shopping and this can be arranged. (You will bear the cost of transportation and guide if desired)
