Helicopter is the best and quickest way to get to mountain destinations and Base Camps. A helicopter ride to EVEREST BASE CAMP is one of the most coveted and memorable ride. 5:30-6:30 am: Hotel to airport
Everest helicopter tour begins from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. In the early morning, we will transfer you to the domestic terminal of the airport from the hotel.
6:30-7:00 am: Preparation to take scheduled helicopter flight
Your guide will assist you to complete all the necessary preparations including check-in and security procedures. Make sure you have all the required documents and board in the helicopter to fly.
7:00-8:00 am: Fly to Lukla
After you complete airport formalities you will proceed to fly Lukla. Embark on a scenic helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range and the stunning landscapes below.
8:00-8:15 am: Refueling
You will begin to experience local Sherpa culture and way of life as soon as you arrive in Lukla. There are a lot of Sherpa porters and tour guides at the airport waiting for their customers. The flight's refueling process will take roughly 15 minutes ensuring a safe and uninterrupted journey.
8:15-8:30 am: Fly to Kala Pattar
You'll catch a flight to Kala Pattar in the morning. Near Mount Everest, there is a well-known lookout point called Kala Pattar that provides breathtaking panoramas of the Himalayas. Depending on where you take off, the flight time may vary, but you could expect to arrive at Kala Pattar in around 15 minutes on average.
8:30-8:45 am: Land and explore Kala Pattar
You will have a little window of time to explore the region after arriving at Kala Pattar. Awe-inspiring views of Mount Everest, as well as other notable peaks like Nuptse and Lhotse, can be found at Kala Pattar. Spend some time admiring the breathtaking view and taking pictures.
8:45-9:00 am: Fly to Syangboche
Once you've had a chance to explore Kala Pattar, you'll take off for Syangboche. In the Everest region, at a height of around 3,800 meters, is a tiny settlement called Syangboche. Usually, it takes 15 minutes to fly from Kala Pattar to Syangboche.
9:00-9:30 am: Breakfast at Everest View Hotel
You will proceed to the famed Everest View Hotel for breakfast after you arrive in Syangboche. At a height of about 3,880 meters, the hotel offers stunning views of Mount Everest and the peaks that surround it. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast while admiring the magnificent surroundings.
9:30-10:00 am: Fly to Lukla and refueling
You will take a different flight, this one to Lukla, after breakfast. A little hamlet called Lukla serves as the entrance to the Everest region. Normally, the flight from Syangboche to Lukla lasts for around 30 minutes. The airplane will refuel upon arrival in order to get ready for the following part of the flight.
10:00-11:00 am: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
You will take a flight from Lukla to Nepal's capital city of Kathmandu. From Lukla to Kathmandu, the flight takes around an hour. Your journey across the Everest region will come to an end once you arrive in Kathmandu, where you may either stay and explore the exciting city or go on to your next location.
