Nepal is home to eight out of the fourteen highest peaks in the world. There are more than 100 rivers cascading from the Himalayas to the lower plains and these rivers are great for rafting adventures navigating class II, III and IV rapids.
Most of the Rafting adventures are just 2 hours drive from Kathmandu Valley. To the south, Tishuli and to the north, Bhotekoshi River rafting are easily accessible and highly popular. You may combine the raft with Bunjee Jumping as well.
Those who want to add more adventures can plan on a week to two weeks trip, combining, trekking, hiking and rafting to see some of the most spectacular nature Nepal has to offer.
